As none of you know, I used to live in a little city which I thought was pretty decent, as it had nothing to do. It had your run of the mill restaurants, a cinema, and a little mall. The town's name was Camrose, Alberta.
When my mother told me that we would be moving to a place called Tillicum Beach that was a 10 minute drive away, I was devastated. I couldn't leave the house whenever I wanted, and when I did, my mother would know what I was doing all the time. I would have to catch a bus every day with people I didn't know, and have to completely change my lifestyle.
After a couple of days, I started warming up to some of the people on my bus, one girl in particular. I don't know what, but there's just something about her that I like. I recently got her cell phone number, and we regularly have conversations over texts. She lives 2 doors down, so the other day I even had her over to watch a movie.
When I came here, I thought my life was going to be school, home, school, home, but now, I'm starting to think that maybe Tillicum won't be so bad.
